Information about view and downloads
Articles from the journal can be viewed directly in your browser (HTML) or downloaded in pdf format.
The content shown to the reader is determined by the selected language settings, the original language of the article and the translation made available by the journal.
The following rules apply:
- The full text of the article will be shown in the selected language (original language or translation) if available.
- If, in the selected language, only an abridged version is available, this version this will be provided in HTML format for immediate viewing.
By clicking pdf format the reader can also view and download the article in the original language and an abridged version in the selected language in a single document.
- If no translation is available in the selected language, the article will be shown in the original language only in both formats.
(Manuscript texts available in German, French and English are shown in HTML under the respective language setting. The full article and abstracts in all languages are available in pdf format.)
Registering information
We recommend that readers register for alerts about new articles in the journal. Please use the registration link at the top of the journal’s homepage. Registered readers receive an email listing the content of each new issue. Registration also allows the journal to authenticate a certain level of support and circulation. Please refer to the journal’s policy for personal data protection, which guarantees that neither the name nor email address of a registered user will be used for other purposes.
